AI Referral Classification
This feature leverages artificial intelligence to automatically scan and identify incoming referrals from your fax lines. Referral AI will also extract key patient demographics, streamlining the referral process and improving data accuracy.
Note: For more information on this feature, please contact WorldView Sales or your Customer Success Manager.
What Changes?
- As faxes come into WorldView, AI will scan for referrals and place them into the Intake queue in the user’s inbox.
- Relevant patient data will be extracted from the referral and automatically placed on the document for approval by a user.
- Patient information can be easily verified and then passed to the EMR by clicking the ‘Attach to Chart’ button.
- A new report has been added to the Web Client to display all referrals that have been recognized by WorldView, as well as the confidence level.
HCHB - Additional Referral Fields
Note: This update only affects Homecare Homebase Customers
This feature is an enhancement to our existing HCHB referral integration. This update adds 6 new fields that can be entered in the WorldView application, allowing for more detailed data exchange between systems.
What will change?
- If configured, the user will now see 6 additional fields when entering a referral from WorldView: Patient Address, Patient City, Patient State, Patient Zip, Patient Phone Number, Patient Mobile Phone Number.
- Once all patient demographics are entered, including the information above, the referral will be submitted to HCHB with this new data also passing over.
Note: Customized changes will be implemented on a per customer basis. For further details, please reach out to our support team or your Customer Success Manager.
Reducing Clicks to Attach to Chart
Recognizing the need for prompt processing of incoming documentation to ensure timely updates to the patient’s chart, we have streamlined the attachment process by minimizing the number of clicks required to initiate indexing.
What will change?
- While users are viewing a fax, selecting 'Details' from the menu will automatically open the 'Patient Lookup' screen for attaching the document to the chart.
- Once ‘Details’ has been selected, the cursor will automatically move to the Lookup bar.
- When users have several documents to Attach to Chart, after the first 'Attach to Chart' action - the next document opens and details are editable.
- If user clicks on the “Collapse" button on the top right in the full document view the following happens:
- Document details stay editable on the right side of the screen with the document in partial document view (below the details screen)
- User can now attach to chart from this view. This allows users to view all faxes/documents in the Inbox while processing the current document.

Decreased Load Times
Customers are currently facing extended load times in the Inbox and Outbox queues due to a higher volume of documents.
What will change?
- New controls are in place in the Inbox and Outbox queues to speed up load times.
- A ‘Show All’ button has been added to the bottom of the Inbox and Outbox queues to show all documents on that page.
Inbox/Outbox Sorting
This feature enhances the user’s sorting experience by adding additional features to the Inbox and Outbox.

- Users can perform actions such as page refreshes or document deletions without losing their custom sorting setup, leading to a smoother workflow.
- A visual indicator has been added on the column header to clearly display the value and direction of your current selection.
Inbox/Outbox Grouping
This feature enhances the user’s grouping experience by adding additional features to the Inbox and Outbox.
What will change?
- ‘Group by values’ is now a checkbox that will group all values in that column, rather than a selection box for each value.
- Users will no longer need to reapply grouping selections when logging in or moving between queues.
- Groupings will now display in a collapsed view so more data is visible to the user.
Note: Grouping will only group your current page selection unless you click the 'Show All' button at the bottom of the screen.
Inbox/Outbox Filtering
This feature enhances the user’s filtering experience by adding individual column filtering.
What will change?
- Users will now be able to filter by an individual column, rather than just the master filter in the top right.
- Users can apply multiple filters to each column, enhancing customization and allowing for a more tailored experience based on individual preferences.
- Users can perform actions such as page refreshes or document deletions without losing their custom filtering, leading to a smoother workflow.
