Performance Improvements
Users have reported slower performance when loading documents and accessing the edit details screen, especially when processing documents in the inbox.
What Will Change?
- This release features optimizations to enhance web client performance, specifically targeting reduced document load times and faster access to the edit details screen in the inbox, leading to a more efficient workflow.
Document Lock Modifications
Customers reported issues with documents in the Inbox showing a 'locked' status even when no user was actively viewing them. Additionally, users could accidentally lock documents by clicking on grid rows while they were still loading.
What Will Change?
- Documents will no longer display a 'locked' status unless a user is actively interacting with them. Additionally, grid rows will be unclickable while documents are still loading, preventing accidental double-locking and resolving instances where documents appeared locked without any user action.
Edit Details: Patient/Order Number Search Optimization
Previously, when users enter an order number or patient name while attaching a document, it could take 5-10 seconds for the dropdown options to populate.
What Will Change?
- Searching will now be much faster, with results displaying in under 3 seconds depending on how many characters are entered in the search.
Outbox/Inbox 'Refresh' Button Does Not Respect Active Filters
When viewing a list of documents in the Inbox/Outbox with a filter applied, refreshing the page causes the filter to be cleared, resulting in the list displaying all items without any filtering in place.
What Will Change?
- The refresh button will now retain any column filters that were applied before the page was refreshed.
Document Transition
Previously, selecting multiple documents to transition between queues often resulted in extended spinner durations or timeouts.
What Will Change?
- With the update, transitioning now takes approximately one second per document which should prevent any timeout errors.
Web Client Email Error
Previously, users were encountering error messages when trying to send documents via email from the web client.
What Will Change?
- This fix allows users to send emails without any issues.
Search Results Reflecting Prior Day’s Data
When performing a search for the current date (e.g., 01/27/2025), the system returns results from the previous day (e.g., 01/26/2025) rather than data corresponding to the date entered.
What Will Change?
- The search will now display results from the date entered.
Signed & Document Date Validation Error
The system displayed a validation error when attempting to attach to chart if the signed date matched the document and order date.
What Will Change?
- Users can now successfully attach documents without encountering this error if the signed date is the same date as the document and order date.
Error When Expanding Deleted Documents
When users selected a document in the 'Deleted Documents' search, clicking the Expand button caused the page to break and triggered an error.
What Will Change?
- When using the Expand button, the document will display correctly.
Large Document Upload
This update resolves an error that previously prevented users from uploading large documents to an Inbox queue.
What Will Change?
- Users can now upload larger documents quickly without the need to split them.
Cover Page Dropdown - Send to Fax
When using Send to Fax, users may experience a delay when trying to populate the dropdown list of available cover pages options.
What Will Change?
- When selecting a cover page from the dropdown, results will now appear quickly instead of with a brief delay.
